Shared dorm
Four beds, big lockers, and the whole rooftop as your living room.
Each dorm is four beds on two bunks, so it never feels like a warehouse. The hostel lists three of these dorms, sharing three bathrooms between them. Each locker is big enough for a backpack and then some. Bring your own padlock — guests say that is the drill.
There is a fan, not air-conditioning. Most nights San Gil cools down enough, but a few guests have found the room warm, so light sleepers should pack earplugs. Guests also mention a reading light and a charging point at each bed.
You only sleep here. The rest of the day happens upstairs: the small rooftop pool, the sauna, two kitchens with free morning coffee, and a balcony over the main square.

No, the dorms have a fan. Recent guests confirm it. If you need A/C, the Deluxe room is the one listed with it.
Maybe. A private four-bed option has appeared on Booking.com, but it was not bookable when we checked. Send us your dates on WhatsApp and the desk will tell you what is possible.
Each dorm has big lockers; bring a padlock. You can also leave luggage at the desk before check-in or after check-out.
The hostel’s Hostelworld policy says children can’t stay in dorms and asks families to book a private room. Message us before booking and we’ll confirm the rule for your dates.
Pick dates and guests; we prefill the room. The desk confirms availability and the rate on WhatsApp — nothing is booked until they do.
